MAKEUP TOKENS
At The Agility Center, we understand that life happens. For this reason, we allow students to earn makeup tokens for missed classes. To create more spaces and maximize makeup options for everyone, provide as much notice as possible. That way, another student is more likely to be able to use a spot left vacant by an absence. Our makeup system only works if everyone does their part!

Makeup tokens can be used for classes, camp, open gyms, and events at any Dynamite gym including Bolt Parkour, Dynamite Gymnastics Center, or Spark Gymnastics Center in Shady Grove. Abuse of our liberal makeup policy may result in makeups no longer being granted and reimbursement for erroneously accumulated or redeemed makeups.
REPORT YOUR CLASS ABSENCES
Classes and makeups absences must be reported AT LEAST 48 HOURS prior to the start time of class.
Missing your scheduled class? Use the “Future Absences” section under the “My Account” tab of our customer portal to report your child’s absence.

In the event of an emergency/illness, submit a future absence notification as soon as possible. The request must be made PRIOR to the start time of class and an explanation included in the notes. Follow up with an email to hello@theagilitycenter.com asking for an exception. Emergency requests are not guaranteed, but rather are issued on a case-by-case basis.​
Scheduling a Makeup Class
Provide at least 24 hours to request a makeup class via the customer portal. If we do not schedule your makeup class in time, send us an email to return your token to your account.

Wait for an email confirmation approving your request (we do not allow makeups in empty/non-running classes or when we know students in that class will be absent)
Go On Hold
The Agility Center allows students to switch from active enrollment in a class to HOLD status for full calendar months. While the student will lose his/her spot in class and will no longer accumulate makeups, makeups can be redeemed while on HOLD. $25/month

To switch to HOLD, you will need to request an end date for your athlete's current class for the end of the month (at least 48 hours before the last day of the month) and then register for HOLD (under Programs) effective the first of the month. Additionally, send an email with the request to hello@theagilitycenter.com.
Makeup Rules

Makeup tokens accumulate and may be redeemed while the student is enrolled; any makeups remaining once enrollment ends will be forfeited.

Class absences must be reported AT LEAST 48 HOURS prior to the start of class via the portal. The purpose of a makeup is to offer flexibility; however, other students need to have the option of using the vacant spot which is only possible with advance notice. Of course, we understand if you have an emergency; however, serial absences with no notification may result in makeups not being granted.

Once a makeup is scheduled, whether or not your student attends, the makeup will be considered redeemed--whether for a makeup class, or camp, open gym or event.

While we permit parents to schedule makeups in advance, parents are responsible for reimbursing the trial rate or regular cost of open gyms, events or camp days for any makeups used beyond the number of makeups earned.
